Upgrade from version 7.0.3 to 7.1

Hi,

The company i work for has license keys, which said to be for version 7.X

I was using version 7.0.3, where i had to enter only that key.

I've downloaded version 7.1 and found out that there is a different key scheme (three fields instead of one: product code, serial number, password).

The question is: can i use that license with 7.1 ?
Or it must be upgraded?

Thanks!

The password was provided, if You clicked on the link in the old PL/SQL Developer's Newsbox - at least for me.

But could you please share, in what format all the three fields have to be (what spaces/dashes/dots have to be where?)

As I understand, the contents are something like this:

Product code: ABCD-EFGH-IJKL-MNOP-QRST-UVWX
Serial number: 123.45678
Password: ab123cd

But it rejects my data... :(

Added: Great! Turns out I was lied to (by my colleagues) - our contract does NOT support this upgrade option. Well that explains a lot!

Hi,

Thanks for the tip Vilx, It solved my problem (my contract support the upgrade ;-))
