Debug: variable hovering not working properly

When i'm debugging, after i'm through hovering over a variable to see its value, (sometimes) the "tool tip" does not go away - I have to change the focus of the application to something else, then come back to it for the tool tip to disappear.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm running
Version 7.1.2.1363
Windows XP Professional 5.1 Build 2600 (Service Pack 2)
Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.4.0

I experienced this as well with version 7.1.2.1363 but I did no further investigation into this

As I remember, same happend within versions 5 and 6, and was ok in first version of 7.
