Macro recorder does not work over Remote Desktop

Using PL/SQL Developer 9.0.6.1665 on Windows XP Professional 5.1 Build 2600 (Service Pack 3) over Remote Desktop (both machines are Windows XP), I can activate the macro recorder but it causes all keyboard and mouse input to stop working. I have to use CTRL+ALT+END in the remote desktop session (equivalent to CTRL+ALT+DEL) to restore keyboard and mouse input in the remote desktop session. PL/SQL Dev's macro icon shows that is it recording at that point, but no keystrokes are recorded.

I experience the same problem on a Windows Server 2003 machine through a Citrix-connection. Also PLSQL Developer version 9.0.6.1665.

The machine I now connect to via Remote Desktop has been changed to Windows 7. So RDP from a Windows XP machine to a Windows 7 machine running PL/SQL Developer 9.0.6.1665 still exhibits this issue.
