Windows Vista stability issues

I have been struggling with occasional Windows Vista crashes for almost a year now. PL/SQL Developer support was not able to solve it (tried running without plug-ins, in new separate installation directory, etc.)

Two situations when it typically crashes are when opening a SQL file (rarely) and when editing a field in a grid, with drop-down list of values (almost always).

So, I was wondering what other people experience with PL/SQL Developer on Vista is. (There is another person in my office with similar problems).

Can you let me know your exact PL/SQL Developer version?

I have the latest version: 7.1.5.1397, but I had exactly the same probems with previous versions.

Have you tried using PL/sql in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode?

I couldn't get connected to ORACLE, changed to this mode and it's working...if you have something especial to test, post the script and I will give it a try
