I encountered the following problem.
Normally, when I switch windows with ALT+TAB, when I press the ALT key, the shortcut help appears on the menu. Then, when I actually switch windows with TAB, it disappears.
The program works like this when I start it.
For me, after a while, this breaks down, and the “menu shortcut help‿ does not disappear, only if I click on the “PL/SQL Developer‿ interface. This would not be a problem, but this help is placed on the top layer and is visible even when I am in another program. This is quite annoying.
I am currently using version 16.0.3, but it was the same in previous versions of 16. I don’t think it was like this in version 15. It certainly doesn’t happen in 14, because I use that regularly. That’s why I think the bug is in version 16.
Unfortunately, I don't know what causes it to crash. I'm surprised that this doesn't happen to anyone else, because it always happens to me after 1-2 hours.
If I restart Developer, it's fine again.
Operating system: Win11, but it was the same with Win10.
The attached image shows three states. The lowest one is when the help is directed to the Office window.

We have not yet been able to reproduce this. To disable these shortcut labels, you can go to Preferences > Key Configuration and disable the “Use default Alt shortcuts for Ribbon‿ option.

- I waited until the error appeared again
- I turned off the display: the above phenomenon disappeared, menu shortcuts did not appear at all
- I turned it back on, to see if it would fix it: it is not the same error
- I turned it off permanently

I am completely satisfied that it is not visible. Thanks for the tip.
