Shortcut Keys

Can anyone help with an irritation I have experienced with vers. 6.0?

For some reason I cannot use the [ctrl + arrow key] shortcuts to jump to the beginning and end of each word. Additionally, I am unables to use [ctrl + shift + arrow key] to highlight entire words.

Is this a bug, or am I overlooking a setting that needs to be adjusted. Please help.

If it is what I think, just open Tools / Preferences / User Interface / Key Configuration / Editor: Word Right/Left and set them to the keys that you want (put the cursor in the value portion of a line and press the key combo you want). That might take care of both problems.
