Shift-Esc can not be used to break debug session (or for anything else)

This has become a problem after I have updated to Windows 7 and PLD version 10.

The keyboard combination Shift-Esc (the default keyboard shortcut to break a debug session) can not be used. It does not break the debug session, but can also not be assigned to other functions in Preferences - Key Configuration. The Shift-Esc keyboard combo does not seem to be recognised at all in PLD. Is it because Shift-Esc has a special meaning in Windows 7 (like Ctrl-Esc and Alt-Esc and Shift-Ctrl-Esc)?

Can anybody help me on this?

This all works fine for me. I can assign Shift-Esc to any function, including the Session / Break function, and it breaks a debug session or other session without any problem.

Can you let me know your session mode preference?

My session mode settings are:
  • Session mode=multi session
  • Oracle home = 11g SQL*net client
  • Multiple connections=No
Does anybody know a program where I can test which keyboard keys are pressed (to find out if it is an OS problem)?

I'm also having problems setting Shift-Esc as break command in v10.

I reinstalled v10B10 and the default key config for the break command is Shift-Esc and pressing it cancels a long running query. However, if I go in to Preferences, set the Break command to anything else and then try to re-assign Shift-Esc, but am unable to do so.

Hope this helps in solving the issue.
