In a package body (in the database), I right-click, select "Compare to" and "Current database source". Examdiff shows a dialog, where it says that the files are identical (in my case). Behind that dialog, there is another (Examdiff - Comparing files), which can be seen by moving the window in front.
I shift to another program in the taskbar. When I return to Examdiff in the taskbar, only the "Comparing files" dialog is shown, and it can not be closed. I can continue my work in PLD, but Examdiff can not be closed (apparently).
Only when I use Alt-Tab to select another program in Windows, I can see that Examdiff actually has two open dialog windows, both named Examdiff. I can now navigate to the right dialog, where I can press the Exit button and close Examdiff.
I am aware, that Examdiff is not an integrated part of PLD, but is a stand-alone program, but as it is bundled together with PLD, I address this bug report to the PLD developers.
