Problem with XP and Version Control?!

Hi all,
I have installed plsqldeveloper 6 on my win xp box running a 10g database locally.Only add-in that I have installed is version control.
When I launch the plsqldeveloper and I entered username and... It hangs. So I must cancel it and then it comes up.Then I login using NORMAL users successfully but when trying to connect as a SYSDBA
it again hangs! What is the problem in your opinion? I have another version on another machine without version control and I can connect as SYSDBA.
Is this a bug?
-Thanks for your help

The Oracle user that connects does in no way relate to the VCS Plug-In. What happens if you disable the VCS Plug-In and connect as SYSDBA (Tools > Configure Plug-Ins)?

Thanks Marco,
I have disabled plugin and now I can connect as sysdba. But as before I should cancel the login dialog when plsql developer starts and then try to connect using Session>Logon.
Why this happens? It seems plsql developer dies sometimes ;)
-Best regards

Maybe this is an environment problem. Can you go to Help > About, press the 'Info' button, press the 'Copy all pages' button on this info screen, and paste this text into an e-mail reply?
