Not really a bug.
In the previous version (v14), pasting code copied from the editor into a word or email was perfectly fine, and it appeared in the format it was visible in the editor. (If both had a white background)
In version v15, dark mode came. This brought the problem that the text copied from dark mode appeared very poorly and unreadably in the target location with a white background.
I think I reported this, and the answer to this was that the format copying was turned off. I could have done this when pasting, for example, but just by copying text. So I wasn't very happy about it.
Since then, I've been using the program with an old (v14) version open alongside the latest version, and if I copy something into, say, an email, I first copy it there and then from there into the email.
I think the following modification could be a solution.
There could be a multi-position switch on the interface that would control what format the copied text would take with it. So, copying from dark mode could convert to light mode. Switch positions: light / dark / no format copy.
I thought there was plenty of room on the status bar. Or if not, in the settings (although it would be a bit difficult to set if you needed more than one at a time)
I would like to know if this would be feasible.
