Problem in importing excel data to Oracle

I'm trying to import some Excel data to my Oracle 10g table using ODBC importer. IT shows the data fine in Results preview but when I click Import, it shows 0 records imported! I've set "Overwrite duplicates" to true so that can't be the problem. I can't figure out why it's not importing any data. I've checked all the data and there are no overflow conditions with reference to the table design. Can anybody please help me?
