We have installed the newest version af PL/SQL developer (Version 7.0.0.1050). The old version was version 5 "something". After the upgrade it is not possible to log on using a externally identified user. We log on with / in username, noting in password and of cause the tnsname of the database. In sql Plus the simular command would be "conn /@do_p0" . This results in an ora-12560 error. We do not have the problem if we logon with a "named" user eg. the System user.

To connect with an externally identified user, leave the username and password fields empty.
