Open window in full screen mode

Hello,

how can I open the windows (sql, command, program...) in full screen mode?

After opening the window I always have to switch the mode by the maximise icon.

If you maximize the (sql, command, program) window and select "Save Layout" from the Window menu, windows will subsequently be opened like that.

Marco, for version 12.0.1.1814 (64 bit) if I select Full Screen, "Save Layout" becomes grayed out. It won't let me save the configuration.

That is indeed correct. In full screen mode most user interface elements are minimized, so this is not a good state to preserve as the default layout.

Note that full screen mode is intended as a temporary mode to maximize the usable screen area by minimizing all other elements.

OK, Thank you, although I tend to always work in full screen. I have another "oddity". On my new laptop the window controls (minimize, window/full screen, exit) that normally appear in the top right corner of the screen disappear. Is that also intentional with 12.0.7.1837? I didn't see that with 12.0.1.x.

If it's intentional, it is a very annoying feature. I have to frequently switch between windows.
