Windows 11: Taskbar icon disappears after launch when not in focus

Hi,
There is a problem with the taskbar icon in Windows 11 disappearing. The issue happens when the application transitions from its loading pop-up to launch the full application. The problem occurs if PL/SQL Developer does not have focus.

1. Press Windows key to open start menu
2. Type in PLSQL, wait for the app to be visible and press Enter
3. The loading splash screen will take the focus
4. Click on a different window to take focus away from the splash loader
5. Wait for main program to launch, and draw
6. Once drawing is complete, the application task bar icon will disappear from the task bar
7. Finding the app in the background and bringing it into focus will make the icon reappear.

I cannot immediately reproduce this. Do you select a connection or enter a username/password somewhere between step 3 and 5? That step seems to be missing.

Can you try the same with the 16.0 beta?

It will install in a separate directory and can be used alongside version 15.0.

Hi Marco,
I'll turn on email notifications to improve my response times.

You correctly identified that I was missing a step, the issue only happens when the application is loading a Workset as the default launch behaviour, hence no login prompt. The issue appears to be resolved in version 16.0.0.2142.
