in the sql window, when you click on a column, the column name, data type, nullable and comments are displayed on the status bar of the window. obliterating the number of records returned.
can i ask that the information be concatenated to the end of the rows returned? perhaps only when you move the cursor over the column? what about having tooltips that appear when you hover over the column headings? if you remove the number of rows returned, then you have to scroll to the bottom of the record set to find out how many rows there are.
what about having an area above the status bar that can display these messages.
cheers.
