In e.g. the object browser, dbms scheduler job list etc., the icons are highlighted when the mouse hover over a text that is too long to be shown in its full length.
The highlight does not go away when the mouse is moved away again. The next time the mouse is over the text, the icon is highlighted a little more. It looks as if the icon is shown again, but each time shifted one pixel.
At the end of the day, the icons end up having many different shades of gray. It can be reset by collapsing and expanding the list, then all icon colours are reset.
