can't save a SQL window

I'm using version 7.1.1.1339

Whenever I try to save or save as on a SQL window, after I type the filename and click save, the dialog box just keeps re-appearing, and the file won't save.

This is sort of a problem. Sorry if it's already been reported and/or if I'm not on the most recent version.

Update:

If I try to save over an existing file, it will throw the prompt about the file already existing, but it won't actually perform the save and gives me the save dialog box back.

I can't reproduce this. Can you send me some screenshots that demonstrates the issue?

I just tried this in a new SQL window and it worked fine, but there are other SQL windows that can't save.
Here is me attempting a save as:

Here it prompts me to overwrite (I said YES)

Here it immediately gives me the save as dialog box back:

On a whim, I pasted the text into a new window and was able to save it. I tried this yesterday to no avail, but today it worked. Go figure. It's the same instance, I didn't shut down overnight.

The conformation shows a path name with blanks. Is that correct, or did you erase part if the image?

I photoshop'd it (client info). I was able to save a different window to that path, so it's not a permissions issue.

Is there any further information on this problem? I'm experiencing exactly the same issue in the same version of PL/SQL Developer.

It doesn't matter whether I try to save the file as a new file or attempt to overwrite an existing file.

Sometimes I get the same error but I can't reproduce this.
