64bit PL/SD ODBC imort from 32 bit Excel

I am trying to run the ODBC importer but cannot get the data source for excel to appear in the list.

I am using 64 bit PL/SQL Developer with 64 bit Oracle client and 32 bit Excel.

Is this possible or do all products have to be the same level?

All products (PL/SQL Developer, Oracle Client, MS Office) have to be either 32 bit or 64 bit.
