Do all new users get out of hand with posting right after they try the product?

- for ease of use I would like the 'goto bookmark' item on the right click menu. This will save lots of mouse movement. Related to this is to have the browse back/forward buttons should have a right click equivalent.

- how about letting us config the right click menu like the main menu?

- plsdev doesn't handle oracle timeouts gracefully. I get AVs and oracle msgs (not all together, it varies, but I haven't clued in on what makes the different ones come up yet).

- in the debug window is the profile button. if I click it and then click the debug button in that window I get a msg that I can't do that, so I have to move the mouse way up to the top tool bar and click that execute button. why not have the debug execute just say 'because profiling was chosen no debug will be done' with an Ok and cancel button?

- I think that the 'need to save' and 'need to compile' indicators would be more useful if the status bar had fields that said 'modified' and 'compiled/uncompiled'. Or, if the hints for the color bars said 'saved/modified' instead of 'save?' and then 'compiled/uncomplied' instead of 'compile?'.

- saved bookmarks!

I guess I should stop typing and see if the power flux we just took disconnected my modem.

This is a great product! Thank you

No, just you

Note that you can already use the keyboard to set (Ctrl-K n) and go to bookmarks (Ctrl-Q n).

I have added this to the list of enhancement requests.

If you go to Tools > Preferences > Options tab page, you can enable the 'Check connection' option. This should prevent these problems.

It's a choice. It shouldn't happen a lot.

Eventually your brain will associate Blue with "I need to save this" and Yellow with "I need to compile this". I admit that the hints could be more helpful though.

You're not the first to ask, so this will definitely be added.

Apparently not!

The power outage was a big one - I heard 4-5 explosions of power transformers during the storm or while they were fixing the problem!

I know about the ctl k/q thing, and also about getting use to clicking the execute on the main tool bar vice the one on the debug window, but when you have to take your hand off the mouse to do the keyboard and then go back to the mouse, or you have to travel half a screen away and then back it gets old (and, you have spoiled us - well, me - by making this almost as good as the Delphi IDE.

Product blurb: I had to do some stuff with TOAD today (it is standard in the customer's office, though we are trying to change the standard to PLSD) and I had occasion to use TOAD's profiler support and PLSD's in the same sitting. Ugh, you have TOAD beat hands down, though their pretty graphs are eye appealing! So many steps to do what a simple click does in PLSD.

Thank you

I just found out that you can in fact go to a bookmark through a context menu. If you right-click in the margin of the editor (where the bookmarks and breakpoints are displayed), you will see a "Goto Bookmark" submenu.
