Select Many Results from Grid

Is there a setting somewhere that will allow me to select many cells in the resultset and copy the results? Right now when I can click into the cell and select one result or right-click the resultset and select all. I would like to be able to select a handful of records (columns or rows). Is this possible?

I found my answer. If you position the cursor really close to the edge it remains a pointer allowing you to click and drag your selection.

If there is a setting to always select the cell instead of clicking into it that would be great!
