I think that it would be nice that the owner wouldn't be part of the object name (like under tables it is now owner.table_name) IF I have defined a filter AND specified the owner in the filter's where clause. It just takes up unneeded screen area.

That is indeed true. I have added this to the list of enhancement requests.

Optional, per filter would be cool.

I often use owner IN or owner NOT IN in the filters.
