It sure would be nice if the queries on the tabs at the bottom could be interrupted by something less than a Task Manager / End Task.

The standard queries should not take that long, but I guess you have added some custom queries that run longer?

yes sir! And, before getting any query tuned, since I don't always think of using a SQL window to develop the new query, I get bit by my mistakes.
Okay, I have added this to the list of enhancement requests.
