Window Not Responding during Text Importer session

Using Windows 7 Enterprise, 64-bit.
While doing a Text Importer session, I see the PL/SQL Developer Window says (Not Responding) until the import completes.
Is this normal?

Can you let me know your Session Mode preference (Tools > Preferences > Oracle / Connection)? If it is set to "Single Session" then database activity will indeed block the program.

"Multi Session", and "Allow multiple connections" are the option settings here.
Edit:
SQL queries that take a long time to execute do not cause this "Window Not Responding"; only the Text Importer tool does.

We regularly see the Text Importer stop counting the number of records it's loaded after it's shown up to 2500 records loaded. It looks like it's hung, but it's in fact still loading records. It's just that the display seems to stop updating until it's finished.

Is that what you're seeing NK?

If not, could this bug be added to the Enhancements List?
