Why dbl click doesn't always select the whole word

Or, more correctly, you dbl click and see the whole word selected and then the selection end changes to where the cursor is (i.e. if I dbl click on 'variable' and the cursor is on the 'i' then only 'vari' would be selected instead of 'variable').

At least in my case, it was because I moved the mouse ever so slightly to the left during the dbl click and it simulates a dbl click-hold on the second click-drag the selection operation.

You can see this in other apps (like, while typing this I did it in the Message area of Add New Topic), but in PLSD the editor widget is much more sensitive. In MS Word you can only enlarge the selection this way.

me too.
But only if i use my mouse-buttons which has a DBL-Click function.
If i DBL-Click with the "normal" left Button of the mouse this issue doesn't appear.

I think, when you know this, this is rather a feature than a bug ;-)
