Marco You say, that "Version 6 will be out in the 1st quarter of 2004"
=)
-----------------------------
1st quarter of 2004 IS NOW !!!!

version 6.0 is never ending story. first release date was 11-12/2003. too many new features - release i excpect aj jun/jul 2004 :( . At this time i will be work with quest/sql navigator

But using PL/SQL Developer you can be sure (probably ;) ) that you will be able to connect to new versions of Oracle databases. Maybe with some features lacking but still will work, SQL/Navigator will show you the following message :mad: :

Error:
Session Manager: Oracle Version not supported
Solution:
Make sure connection parameters are correct and try again

Good luck! ;)

Greetings,
Joachim Rupik

:rolleyes: I not like work with sql navigator, but missing support on partitioning - i must work with two tools. :mad:

PL/SQL Developer 6.0 will be available in the 2nd quarter. Like with any proper software project, there have been some delays ;).

Partition support has already been implemented.

1, This is very nice.... thanks for each day with sql navigator :mad:
2, I am afrraid for big bang (6.0). each day is new functionality request for this version. (latter release date) :rolleyes:

Marco,
new beautifier has ben implemented?
can you paste any screen from new beautifier?
thanks.
partitioning support looks good ;) ;)

go on, give them another finger (no, i'm only thinking to the thumb, why?).

Can you guyz please tell me what you want to do with the print screens?

I knew I would regret posting this screenshot :(. Don't you guys have something better to do than staring at screenshots?

Ok maybe we can make a deal.

One screen shot per week? And everyone is happy?

And everyone stops asking for any other screenshots.

p.s. Marco, you have to create those screens shots for the "features" page anyways ...

Suggestion:

Marco doesn't read - or reply to - any forum messages until the release:

1) Marco doesn't get discouraged by our begging;
2) We don't beg, because we know Marco isn't reading anyway;
3) The release will be done sooner with so much extra attention from Marco.

Not two, but three birds with one stone.

(Marco: Don't dare to reply to this :) )
