visibility issue - sometime PLSQLD application goes invisible

Hi,
One of my customers PLSQLD version is 13.0..1911, installed on Win7 desktop. Since march we switched to work from home, so the IT has published the desktop via Citrix so we can access the desktop this way.

The only issue is it seems when the PLSQLD goes to background (i.e. we are working in Excel or word) then if we bring PLSQLD to foreground, its appears to hang. When i say appears to hang, I discovered it is not hanging, just it is not repainting itself (it keeps whatever open as is). App is now in foreground but It just remain invisible, if i click on an area like the Menu, it starts to appear bit by bit depending on what i click and open.

Have anyone seen this behaviour please? Is there a setting somewhere in preferences or something to force refresh the visibility or something like that please? The other applications work fine without such an issue.

I have not heard about this problem before. I cannot imagine that there are any preferences that might affect this.

As a test, can you try the same with the current 14.0 release?

Since I started working from home, discovered this behavior too.
I solve this by switching between PLSD child windows (documents) using Ctrl-Tab. If you switch using mouse - main window not fully repainted.
Problem is not only via Citrix, but in VMware Horizon too.
And I don't remember such problems when I connected RDP directly! But at that time I used PLSDv10, so maybe such behavior appears with ribbon interface...

Hi,
i can confirm this behavior.
Switching between multiple PLSQLD windows or others programms can lead to these "invisible" windows.
For me the following workaround helps: After opening a new SQL-Window (have it on shortcut) the hole window becomes visible again.

I work via thin client. So i am not working directly on my machine.
But this happens only for the PLSQLD-windows. Other programms are shown correctly.

Have this behavior on 12.x and on 14.x releases.

Can you let me know the exact 14.0 version you tried? If it is 14.0.0 or 14.0.1, can you update to 14.0.2 and try again?

I tried the following versions:
14.0 Beta 1 - 8
14.0.0
14.0.1
14.0.2

All had the same behavior.
It does not always occur when switching between Developer windows but like 100% when switching to desktop (win+D) and back to PLSD.

Maybe its not a PLSQL-Developer problem and is mor Citrix / Thin Client related.
But it is strange, that opening a new SQL-window fixes this visibilty issue (until next window switch )
