I have a column in a table that is an XMLTYPE. When I select from the table in a SQL window and click "..." to see the contents of the column, it says "This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app, or if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Setting page". What specifically am I supposed to do? What "app" should I install? How?

This indicates that you have previously selected to view the XML in an external application, which does not seem to function properly here. Can you hold down the Ctrl key when you click on the "..." button? Let me know if this helps.
