Version 7.1.5 crashes during cut/paste

I've polled our user base (we have a 50-user license) and discovered that we have many users experiencing program hangs and crashes when cutting & pasting data.

One user noted (in his case) that pasting data into a column that has existing data causing this to happen most of the time. If he clears the field first then he can paste data in w/o an issue.

It's happened at random times for me as well when cutting and pasting into a SQL window. I just figured I was the only one with the issue.

We are running on Windows 7 PC's.

I have a Debug.txt file from a user who just experienced the issue today. I just emailed it to support@allroundautomations.com

Does this only happen for data pasted in a grid, or also to data pasted in an editor?

If it only happens in a grid, can you go to Tools > Preferences > Fonts and disable the "Include font style with Copy" option?

We have the same problem since we use PSD 7.0.3.1123 with Windows 7 64bit. But I can't trace this bug as I can't reproduce it.

No it happen in free form SQL, in package or procedure modifications; really anywhere you can cut and paste. I had four crashes this morning in about a two hour time frame.
This is really annoying when you have test SQL script setup, and it crashes when you make your changes you lose your script if you forget to constantly save.

I had issues with free form sql also.This evening it happened to me 5 times in some 30-40minutes and I stopped working after that :;
But if we are really slow then this issue is not happening I guess.
A fix would save us a lot of time and rework.

Some users are experiencing program hangs with PLSQL Developer, especially when doing fast cuts &pastes. Is everyone running into this at times?

Yes and it is hurting us very badly. When we are in the middle of development and doing some copy past, it hangs and we are losing all our work. It happens at least once a day for me and sometimes 5-6 times and I use it all the time.

We are definitely having issues. Sometimes it just plain quits and closes and others it locks up.
