VCS plugin - Version Label not assigned

Hi, I'm using the VCS plugin 1.2.0 with pl/sql developer 6.0.4.906 and Serena's(Merant's) PVCS Version manager 8.0.0.3
I unable to assign a version label or promotion group on the initial add to version control action. I can enter them ok via the interface but neither is associated with the archive. On subsequent check-ins the version label is appended successfully and the promotion group can be set OK. This only fails on the initial add to version control. There is no error message, the code is simply added to version control without the desired label or promotion group. Any ideas?

I'm afraid you will need to contact Merant about this. Version labels and promotion groups are handled internally by the Merant SCC interface implementation.
