I installed Version 13 this morning, alongside existing Version 12. All OK, except for the "Register Filetypes..." functionality, from the Files | Extensions preferences screen.
I selected the usual .SQL, .PDC file types etc, and tried to register... did nothing.
I tried:
- running PL/SQL Developer v13 as Administrator
- un-Registering the file types from within Version 12.
- using Windows right click file, Open With...
- Windows Control Panel Default Programs
- uninstalling Version 12.
- mucking about in the registry...
There was nothing I could do to associate any file type with Version 13.
Eventually, I had to sadly uninstall Version 13, and reinstall Version 12. Version 12 then allowed me to easily Register the file types again (when run as Administrator).
Anyone else had this problem?
NB: Windows 7.
Thanks
