Upgraded from 7 to 9 and frustrated....

I was recently upgraded by my company from 7 to 9 and just can't quite get the hang of the Object Browser feature yet. I can log in but under the Object Browser it always defaults to the .. the problem is that I need to be attached as another user, ABCDE, to access the tables that I need. Is there anyway to modify the logon so that once I am logged in, it defaults to the user ABCDE instead of ? Otherwise I have to select the other user every time which was not necessary under 7.0. I read through the manual and could find nothing about doing this. I realize my limitations and now could use some help..

I guess you're looking for Tools/Preferences/User Interface/Object Browser/Default user selection. And the textarea next to it (e.g. username='ABCDE')

The preferences allow you to select a default of "" or "". The upcoming version 10 will automatically reuse the most recently used user selection for the connection.

Thanks so much for the reply.. At least I know now that it can't be done. It would be nice though to have a patch or add-in to allow this until the next release.. It just takes so long sometimes to browse all the objects..
