Currently we have the PL/SQL-Developer Version 7.1.5.1398 (20 Licenses) without a service contract. We would like upgrade to Version 8.0. Is the upgrade to version 8 included withing the annual service contract?

Thanks for Help!

Are you entitled to a free upgrade?
You are entitled to a free upgrade if you purchased a license after Aug 1, 2009 or if you have a valid Annual Service Contract. In that case you can download version 8.0 and register it with your current license and registration information.

If you purchased a license before Aug 1, 2009 and do not have a valid service contract, you can download version 8.0 and use it as a 30 day trial version. Make sure that you install it in a separate directory so that you do not override your current registered version. To upgrade your license to 8.0, you can purchase an Annual Service Contract for the corresponding number of users of your license. For pricing and ordering information, see the online order page.

I have 7.0.3, just purchased the Annual Service Contract and now scratching my head how to make it work.
Have both versions installed - registered 7.0.3 and trial 8.0. Click Update in v7, redirects me to the Order web page.
Click Register in v8, it requests product, serial and password info, I have those from my v7 only, when enter them, registration fails.
Invoice I got for my annual contract doesn't contain any codes, no other emails received.

If all is well you have received an e-mail with new license and registration information. If not, please send me an e-mail.

Yes, just got it. 1 day delay. Looks like a manual process.

Anyway the problem is solved. Thank you!
