unix file problem

From searching the forums i understand that currently in pl/sql developer, unix files will always be saved with CR/LF pairs. I can live with that, but what i find quite annoying is that saving unix pl/sql program files often causes every line to be separated by a blank line. Is there anyway to get around this from within PL/SQL developer?

I assume the extra blank line is caused by the CR/LF pair? The only way to omit this is by using the ftp Plug-In (http://www.allroundautomations.com/plsqldevaddons.html ), which allows you to open and save files directly from and to the unix file system. The ftp protocol converts between LF and CR/LF.

i worked with this plugin last year to save to unix/linux and i had never a problem with to much lines...
