Text Importer cannot load file with one row of data

Has anyone faced the issue where the Text Importer does not work for files with 1 row of data - either with or without headers?

We'll check it out. Note that you can always manually set the configuration options, such as the field count, field separator, and so on.

Manual configuration does not seem to work. Further testing have shown the issue exists in v14, v12 - but, not in v11!

Can you confirm this is a bug and will be patched in due course?

It's a restriction of the analysis procedure. It needs more data than 1 record to determine the format. I have added this to the list of enhancement requests.

It's tough to tune it manually when there are 50 fields, man
