Tab Based Interface

When we will expect the PL/SQl Developer to be Tab based interface like (Google Chrome Or SQL Developer or SQL Navigator)?

We have been long waiting for the tab based interfaces,since a database programmer would be working on Multiple windows. Switching to a particular window like closing or opening the windows in tab based would be very easy.

Please we are eagerly waiting for this feature.

Looks nice on widescreen.

Tab-based UI is less convenient when you have a lot of windows opened at a time.

One can also use the "Connections" pane (Tools / Connections) to navigate between open Windows, having them grouped by connection.
(I personally prefer the "Window list" pane and would not mind an option to use the tabbed approach as RaghuB suggested, but yes, it will not make much sense when having many windows open.)

I agree, But when we want to close a specific window, we need to search a lot in the list of opened windows list. If tab based UI is given, we can easily close the current working tab.

In case of current working tab (or rather current working window) in PL/SQL Developer, you can do it easily now - you just have to click the "X" button of that window. You do not need the window list nor anything else for that.

You can use Ctrl-F4 to close current window.
