Spanish Characters

Hi guys,

When i save and object that contains spanish characters like (

 

[Marco Kalter]

What happens if you save the file to Windows and then use a standard FTP application to transfer it to Unix. Does this preserve the national characters?

Thanks for your response, The answer is NO using and standard FTP app. does'nt make any difference, the national character are not preserve neither

In that case I would guess that the problem resides in the ftp server on unix.
