Shortcuts to templates

I was just wondering if there is shortcuts or code completion to templates? If there is how does it work and how do you set it up?

IMHO there is no short-cut available. But my template plug-in might be handy for you. It is not as flexible as the templates (variables etc), but it can easily be used to create partial code templates.
