Saving files

I save my files on a network drive. I'm also working from home, so I expect a delay in saving files. In version 12, the "Save" and "Save As" windows open in about half a second. That is the same performance as every other Windows program on my laptop.

With 64 bit version 13.02.1898, however, it takes 30 to 45 seconds to open a window to save a file. If there's anything you can do to improve that, I would appreciate it.

Can you go to Preferences > User Interface / Options, enable the "User standard Windows file dialog" option, and check if that helps?

I should have known there was a preference for that. It's way, way better now.
