Request for failed saves

My machine locked up while having several files opened with the ftp plug-in. The recovery worked great when I brought my machine back up and I was happy.

I closed one of the windows just after that though, and it asked if I wanted to save the changes as it always does, and I said OK. A message box said "Save Failed!" and the window immediately closed. I lost it anyway. Bummer.

I thought it might be nice if when a save failed message happens the window didn't immediately close so I could try something else.

I tried to reopen the file to work on it again after all this and the reopen menu put square brackets around the word ftp and the host name so it wouldn't reopen the file either. Maybe that's why it isn't saving as well? It would be nice if it could save and reopen files after a recovery using the ftp module too.

Thanks!

I'm sure that the intended behavior in case of such a failure would be that the file remains open in PL/SQL Developer.

Was this failure also related to a file that was accessed through the FTP Plug-In?
