Repost: Logon dialog looses first letter entered when history has been opened

This error has been present at least since 2016 (prior to version 12).
When you press Ctrl-H in the logon dialog (to open history), chooses an entry and press Enter, a windows alert sound is played and when you type the password, the first letter is skipped and you obviously get a logon error.

Please fix it in version 15, it is easily reproducible and should be fixable.
