New logon screen, how to start with Recent folder in focus (and other issues)

1) When logging on with the v.9 logon dialog, the folder Imported history is expanded so I can easily see and navigate to the preferred user. How can I make the folder Recent unfold as well by default, so I can easily navigate to those users as well without having to expand the node first?

2) The marking of the current user is just a dotted frame (as already stated during the beta test period). It would be nice if the current marking had a blue background with white letters or similar, like in the object browser, they look very similar otherwise.

3) If you have more entries beginning with e.g. A, if you press the letter A, the first user beginning with A is opened, I would expect the focus to shift to the first user beginning with A and then goto the next user with A when pressing A again, etc.,like in the object browser. When there is only one user beginning with a letter, it would be OK to open that user. Pressing R does not go to the Recent folder, why?

1. The Connection folders will be in the same state as when you last closed PL/SQL Developer, if the "Autosave Desktop" preference is set.

2 + 3. We'll check it out.

ad 1) I can not get it to work. I have set the "Autosave Desktop" option and also tried Window -> Save Layout. The logon window is always in the same state no matter how I manipulate it before logging on and subsequently closing PLD again. I have disabled "Allow multiple connections", maybe this could have something to do with it?

It always works fine for me, regardless of the "Allow multiple connections" preference. Does the issue only apply to the "Imported history" folder, or to other folders as well?

It didn't work for me either, but I found a way.

Just login.
Go to the connections and set the folders as you want them at startup.
Close and restart PL/SQL Developer => Now the connection folder is in the same state as when I closed PL/SQL developer

PL/SQL Developer 9.0.2.1621

PS: Notice that the connection window after startup could have a different configuration then the startup connection window. I think these 2 should be separated completely and as such saved and restored.

Hello Roeland

Thanks for your answer.

I had a little problem finding the new 'browser-like' connection window from inside PLD, but I gained access to it by selecting it in the Tools menu
