Program failure on Windows 7

Hi there,

I found the developer unstable and crash always with Window 7.
My developer version 10.0.2.1697 and Window 7 64-bit SP1 (Traditional Chinese).
The software crashed When I make some queries from SQL Window.

My colleagues also experience something like this.
It is so annoying to us. Please follow up and feedback to me as soon as possible.

Something like this.
If translating to english, it says
"PLSQL Developer stop running
Due to problem occurs, program is not function properly. Window will close the program, and will inform you if having solution"

I tried Version 9.0 also and I got same error when I make query.

Hi Marco,

After discussing with my colleagues, we found that the failure occurs when we run sql statement in SQL Window.
The program should be finish processing the statement and about to display the result.
As in attached screen capture, it showed the first field of first record before the program display the failure message.

Thanks. Can you update to an Oracle11g Client? Your Oracle10g Client can lead to problems on Windows 7.

Thanks for your help. After updating to 11g client, the problems is gone.
