Problem with read-only files

If I open a read-only SQL-Script, and save it under a new name, the editor still blocks me from using the Upper Case and Lower Case features. In fact, the Edit, Selection menu option remains disabled until I close the file and re-open it.

Thanks. I've noticed that if I just switch to another SQL/Program window in PL/SQL Developer and back everything is fine.
