The following problem occurs:
If I use environment variables (eg. %my_var%) to set the directory for sql scripts and then save a script, the appropriate directory is suggested.
But if I use environment variables to set the template directory in the preferences, my templates are not found. If I use at this point a hardcoded path, everything works fine!

How can I use environment variables to set the template directory ?

The directory preferences do not support environment variable translation. I have added this to the list of enhancement requests.
