PL/SQL Developer window freeze

My problem is that PL/SQL developer consistently freezes (and the window disappears) when trying to access table/package information.

Windows XP SP2

PL/SQL Developer version: 6.0.4.906
oracle: 8.1.7.4

This is kind of annoying and makes it difficult to use.

Can you let me know exactly when this happens? Can you go to Help > Support Info, press the 'Copy all pages' button on this info screen, and paste this text into an e-mail reply?
