PL/SQL Developer V 11?

I'd also like more focus on bug and issue fixes, but I'd also like to know if another version is in the works. IF I get a better warm fuzzy that open issues don't sit in the forums listening to their own echoes through version after version, and I upgrade my team from our current version, I'd like to know that v11 isn't going to come out a month later.

Of course, we haven't upgraded to 8, 9, or 10 yet because I don't have that warm fuzzy, but we're rapidly hitting a crossroads

I am sorry to say, that I wouldn't put my hopes too high on getting that many errors fixed before or during version 11. In March 2013, Marco Kalter wrote in an answer to a post concerning a still existing error in one of the 10 beta versions, that
All remaining beta issues will be fixed in a future patch release.
In patches 10.0.1 to 10.0.5 there was reported 58 bug fixes/optimisations out of the many hundred reported errors during the beta tests (+ the back catalog of errors reported during the last 10 years in this forum), so unless there will be 100% developer focus on correcting the majority of the known errors in PLD, version 11 will probably contain all the known errors from version 10 + new ones originating from the new 11 functionality.

And for this reason many of us wrote here, that we will prefer to bug fix insted of new Features!
I hope if enough of us will say this, then Marco will finaly understand this and do bugfix!

It's taking a little over 2 years between major releases. I wouldn't expect version 11 for another year yet. My concern is that it's coming up on a year since there's been anything released to address bugs. I agree that the bug list is starting to be comical.

I have no idea what is going on. This doesn't surprise me. I would do the same, because why would a company give out its secrets for the competition to jump on. So, we are left to wonder and guess.

I suspect and hope that they are actually working on something and not just riding on the glory days of past success. Since it's been so long, perhaps they are doing something big that takes time? There are hints of a 64 bit version, so perhaps there is focus on that. I don't see any hints, but I would be very happy if they are switching to a platform (Java?) that can be 64 bit and can run on Mac and Linux.
