This feature is probably overlooked by many of the users here but with disk space being so cheap now it really is quite a powerful idea especially if you auto clear output.
If you could just make three enhancements to this feature I think you will be able to really make this feature pop:
1) the %date% expression should expand to something sortable like YYYYMMDD.
2) Place a separator at the bottom of each write so we can tell where one output begins and one ends, maybe throw a time on it.
3) Create a %dir% expression that expands to the roaming directory for PL/SQL Developer (e.g. C:\Users\John\AppData\Roaming\PLSQL Developer 12\)
