ORA-01041

Anyone with solution for this
ORA-01041: internal error. hostdef extension doesn't exist
This error came up suddenly while compiling.

Do not encounter error when I tried compiling the program from a different PC.

Appreciate any help!!

Under preferences, do you have 'Oracle/Debugger/Add Debug information when compiling' checked? If so, this might cause these kind of problems.

Appreciate your reply...its already unchecked...still getting error...strange...hv been using PLSQL developer many months now and never encountered this before

Does this happen for all compilations, or just specific program units?
