ORA-00911 Invalid Character

When trying to run multiple commands in the SQL window, the script crashed with error
ORA-00911 "Invalid Character"
and highlights the end of line character ";"

Any Ideas

Either use a command window to run multiple commands, or check the "AutoSelect Statement" option on the SQL Window tab of the Preferences.
