No windows recovery after developer restart

Hi.

Since PLSQL Dev 14, I don't get "recovery window selection" after plsql dev start after windows (night) reboot. I didn't changed anything since ver. 13.

I do have "Autosave desktop" + "Save changed files when PLSQL Developer loses focus" checked.
I don't have "Save layout per multi monitor setup" checked.

I don't use projects.

When I open new PLSQL instance + new window, I see new files under %AppData%\Roaming\PLSQL Developer 14\PLS-Recovery\

Some idea?

Thanks.

Best Regards,
Stanislav

I tested this and it seems to work fine. Can you let me know your "Recovery and Workset" settings under Preferences > Files > Backup?

I tried to kill developer process and recovery works after that.

It is possible, that Windows (nightly forced update restart) make PLSQL developer to force close/exit cleanly .... not "hanging" on dialogs "save changes before exit" and killing plsqldev.exe? That's only one possible explanation ...

Today, with some windows left opened in PLSQLDev, I have been forced to restart W10 (due to some other SW upgrade). After some wait time on windows standard "Closing X applications and shutting down" dialog, I pushed "Shut down anyway" and after restart no recovery from PLSQLDev.

I am experiencing the same issue. If I force crash pl/sql dev then crash recovery works just fine. But a nightly reboot for Windows patches I do not get crash recovery.
Running 14.0.6.1988

We discovered, that collegues using PLSQL Developer 13 doesn't face the same problem - working as expected. Almost all on PLSQL Dev 14 are seriously pi..ed!

In version 14.0 you can use worksets. All your uncompiled and unsaved work will be preserved, regardless of how PL/SQL Developer is terminated. You can also save or compile your work from time to time. Enabling the Program Window preference "Safe before compilation" may also be convenient.

I have the same problem.
The recovery popup when starting PLSQL Developer 14 is not showing the most recent recovery file(s).
However, the recovery files are present in the recovery folder.
When continuing without recovery by clicking Cancel, you can recover the present file(s) via Files => Open => Recovery Files and selecting the recovery cfg file you need.
